Sancerre Rosé, Dauny 2023

Grape: Pinot Noir.

With its originality and fine, elegant bouquet, this Sancerre rosé is a thirst-quenching, summery wine, which goes well with hors d’oeuvres, cold meats, grilled meats and exotic menus.

The Sancerre vineyard represents 2600 hectares of Sauvignon for the whites and Pinot Noir for the reds and rosés.
The Dauny family is an old winemaking family from the Sancerre region who have been cultivating vines on the famous slopes of Champtin since 1683.
Nicole and Christian Dauny represent the twelfth generation and the thirteenth is their sons Benoît and Thibaut.

In 1964, the vineyard was entirely converted to Organic Agriculture. The aim was to improve the long-term fertility of the soil, eliminate many forms of pollution and provide consumers with a healthy, natural and balanced product.
