This prestigious red wine originates from Domaine Gayda in the Languedoc-Roussillon, Southern France. The Chemin de Moscou is a superb blend, predominantly featuring Syrah, with Grenache and Mourvèdre, grown on the high-altitude, limestone and clay soils of the estate.
It displays a deep, inky ruby-red colour. The nose is intense and complex, offering layered aromas of black cherry, violet, dark chocolate, and garrigue herbs. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, showcasing concentrated dark fruit, fine-grained tannins, and a persistent, long finish.
This cuvée is consistently highly decorated, often receiving 90+ points from major critics. It is the perfect pairing for robust cuisine, including roasted beef, venison, rich stews, or mature, strong cheeses.
