This exceptional white wine originates from the Colli Tortonesi area of Piedmont, Italy, renowned for resurrecting the Timorasso grape. The La Zerba is a single-varietal expression, crafted entirely from 100% Timorasso grapes, benefiting from the region's unique clay and limestone soils.
It displays a beautiful golden-yellow colour, which deepens with age. The nose is intense and evolving, offering complex aromas of citrus peel, honey, petrol, and striking minerality. The palate is dry, full-bodied, and highly structured, with a characteristic grip and a very long, age-worthy finish.
Timorasso is highly acclaimed for its quality and complexity. This wine pairs elegantly with rich fish dishes, white truffle cuisine, creamy risottos, or aged, hard cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano.
