We have been importing from Monterosola for 6 years now and have been delighted with the response to these wines from our customers.
Many of you have discovered these wines during travels to Tuscany and a visit to the winery, then wishing to continue enjoying these wonderful wines back at home.
Our relationship with Monterosola was borne of Alan's wish to find good wine and
food from the home of the Norchi family; Volterra. It was a joyful surprise to find a beautiful place, making excellent wine with their own grapes, and with sustainability at the heart of things.
Their wines and the oil are exceptional and they are receiving plaudits accordingly. The Monterosola estate combines the very best traditional winemaking techniques with state-of-the art technology. Their vineyards sit between the world-famous wine growing regions of Chianti, Bolgheri and Montalcino where the terroir offers the optimum environment for growing first class wines.
The unmistakable quality of Monterosola’s wines is achieved by constant attention to detail alongside gentle and organic farming methods. The estate produces an impressive selection of award-winning red wines that are in demand world-wide. It also makes a smaller amount of excellent white wines.
